​I love Jesus, and I love to write!

I got saved in 2021 after having an encounter with the Lord right in my bedroom.

Growing up, I was raised Catholic, but as I got older faith and religion was no longer part of my life.

What I did gravitate towards was a counterfeit spirituality. 

​

I got hooked onto astrology, crystals, tarot card readings, ancestral worship, meditation, reiki, chakra balancing, channeling, goddess worship, and the list can go on and on.

​

My goal before was to be a "spiritual" teacher. I wanted to make a living out of my tarot card readings and reiki sessions (and yes I did get certified to be a reiki practitioner, and went through the whole initiation and process for it). My pull and interest in the occult started when I was young when I would always be drawn to things that contained witches, fairies, and anything of the supernatural.

Fast forward to my high school years, and I had friends that were also interested in these things, and along with a culture online that glorified pursuing occultic pathways - I got pulled in.

​

I dropped out of college during a time in my life that was really hard, and it was in that decision that I decided moving forward I was going to "seek out" this spirituality that I was hungry and searching for.

To keep it in simple terms, I define spirituality as "something that is bigger than oneself that gives one meaning and purpose in life." I was on a journey to figure out what this was for me.

A week before I made the decision to drop out of college, I stayed up multiple nights watching videos from one of the largest new age communities online (Spirit Science) that opened up so many doors to demonic and occultic teachings such as christ consciousness, kabbalism, starseed and galatic federation community, "lightworker", and so on. 

​

The new year came in, and COVID hit and lockdown happened. I delved into new age teachings like never before because I wasn't working and had so much free time on my hands. I did a reading on myself probably everyday for about a year, paid for reiki sessions every other week, channeled so many spirits (demons) during my times of mediation, and so on.

I was walking in the kingdom of darkness.

It wasn't until I had a dream that scared the bejeezus out of me. I've had dreams before this one, but this one was different. The same day, or probably the next, I heard the gospel again for the first time as an adult. It was from a (at that time) new age teacher on Instagram who was having the same experiences I was having (demonic attacks), and she met Jesus. She started sharing Bible verses and shared the gospel on her story. Praise the Lord, because she is now saved and redeemed! Hallelujah!

​

Because of my background with Catholicism, I knew the name Jesus, but when I heard this women talking about Jesus at that time it was different. In new age, there's the antichrist spirit that says Jesus is just one out of many, and that all roads lead to God. It denies his divinity and Lordship, and the fact that He came in the flesh to die on the cross for our sins.

I knew the name Jesus, but I didn't know Jesus.

The true gospel was shared with me through Instagram, and the Bible verses that I was reading on her story was already doing a work in me by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I got on my knees in my room and decided to say a quick prayer. I was desperate because I was so confused with everything that was going on with the demonic attacks I was experiencing.

​

"God, if Jesus really is the way, the truth, and the life, please show me. I repent of all this stuff if this is not from you. Please forgive me of all my sins and save me. I renounce all of this new age stuff." Something like that. It was less than 3 minutes.

​

I got up from my knees, and in that moment I knew everything changed. I always say this when I share this part, but I've had many supernatural experiences before, whether it be from the kingdom of darkness or the kingdom of light, and to this day

nothing compares to the moment that I came home to the Father.

​

I got up from my knees, and I saw someone standing next to me (I don't know if this was Jesus, the Holy Spirit, an angel - all I know is that there was a presence next to me), and then I saw this kid version of myself run out from me, and run into the open hands of the Father who was so joyful. He was smiling and was so happy as I came running towards Him. 

It was instant, but in that moment for a very quick second, I was filled with so much joy I've never experienced before.

​From that moment on, I just knew deep down within me, that I was saved and everything was going to change.

I was resurrected into a new creation. Brought from death to life.

So that's my testimony in a nutshell!

​

This blog is a place for me to testify of what Jesus has done in me, and in my life.

Regardless if you are a believer or not, it doesn't take a long time for anyone in our generation here in America to be exposed to these "spiritual" things.

 

Barnes & Noble has their own section for "New Age & Alternative Beliefs" and "Astrology & Tarot" (if you go onto their website and in their non-fiction section you can see this). Five Below has books catered to kids on moon manifesting, how to do tarot card readings, how to read astrology, and so on. I'm walking along the streets and I just randomly here people asking someone else, "what's your astrology sign?" The rise of social media has allowed anyone to access doorways into witchcraft and occultic teachings.

​

This is all a counterfeit spirituality, and everyone knows that the counterfeit is never the best.

​

My prayer for this blog is to encourage and help equip other believers on their walk with Christ.

For seekers or those who haven't made the decision to make Jesus Lord and Savior over their lives yet,

I just pray that they are drawn to Him above all else (John 12:32).

It will consist of blog articles, which will range from things such as me exposing the counterfeit things of new age, Bible teachings, and lessons from my own walk as a follower of Jesus. This will vary as I am led by the Holy Spirit.​​​

My favorite color is pink, I like to read, I love the beach, I hate olives and pickles (eeeeyuck!), I do like pineapple on pizza, my favorite Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor is strawberry cheesecake, I was born in New Jersey and believe that New Jersey has better bagels than New York (but New York has better pizza), and if you had to ask me whose my favorite from the Powerpuff Girls it would be Bubbles. ​​​​
